Subject Lead for Food/Hospitality & Catering
Payrange MPR/UPR. plus TLR 2.1
Can you transform a classroom into a high-stakes professional kitchen, a nutritional science lab, and a five-star front-of-house experience?
At Lealands, we are seeking a culinary visionary and a pedagogical leader to take the helm of our Food & Nutrition, Hospitality & Catering department. This isn’t just about following recipes; it’s about leading a curriculum that explores the science of nutrition, the art of presentation, and the fast-paced world of the service industry.
As our Subject Lead, you won’t just be teaching; you’ll be the architect of our vocational and academic success working with our Director of subject to build a curriculum that is unbeatable. We are looking for an expert practitioner who can bridge the gap between the classroom and the professional kitchen, inspiring a vibrant, multicultural student body.
Your Mission:
Drive the Curriculum: Design and deliver a forward-thinking programme across Food & Nutrition and Hospitality & Catering that excites, challenges, and prepares students for industry.
Lead with Impact: Mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of "culinary excellence" and sharing cutting-edge teaching methods.
Bridge to Industry: Show our students that food isn't just a life skill—it’s a career path. From nutritionists to executive chefs, you will nurture the next generation of industry leaders.
At Lealands, we prioritise the "Lead" in Subject Lead. We provide a supportive, high-energy environment where your professional evolution is at the top of our menu.
Your Toolkit of Benefits:
Invest in Your Mind: A bespoke professional development programme with opportunities to study for a Master’s degree.
Wellness & Security: Private healthcare with Benenden and a generous relocation package to help you settle in.
Tech-Ready: Your own staff laptop with seamless remote access.
Location, Location: Perfectly positioned for easy commuting via the M1 (J11A), Leagrave station, and Luton Airport.
If you are a passionate educator with a hunger for leadership and a deep understanding of the hospitality and catering sector, we want to hear your vision for our department.
