The Role

Working closely with the Head Teacher, the Deputy Head Teacher will:

·         Provide strong, visible and values‑driven leadership across the school

·         Play a central role in shaping and delivering the school’s strategic vision

·         Ensure consistently high standards across the school

·         Support staff development through coaching, mentoring and performance management

·         Contribute to whole‑school self‑evaluation and improvement planning

·         Maintain the highest standards of behaviour, safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing

·         Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (or be willing to train)

·         Possesses successful leadership experience in a primary or junior school setting

·         Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to inspire and motivate others
