We are looking for an IT Technician who would like to join our dynamic and successful school and learn how to manage school network hardware and software; someone who would like to be part of a friendly and hard-working team.
The successful candidate will have:
- An appropriate IT knowledge and experience with a good understanding of Windows operating systems and servers as well as Microsoft packages and other operating systems. Experience with Arbor is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational abilities with a proven capacity to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure.
- The ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, and work positively with staff and students
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, supported by a solid educational background
- The ability to thrive in a busy and demanding work environment, demonstrating energy and enthusiasm.
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, detail in all tasks and demonstrate good problem solving skills
- The skills to be a positive team player who values collaboration and is willing to assist and support colleagues as needed.
- The ability to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking, with a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Adaptability and be able to thrive in a busy and demanding work environment, demonstrating energy and enthusiasm.
- A record of excellent attendance and punctuality
