About this Role

Key Responsibilities:

General Office Administration

  • Welcome visitors and respond to phone, email, and in-person queries professionally

  • Carry out day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil records using school systems (e.g. SIMS/Arbor)

  • Assist with school communications such as letters, newsletters, and emails to parents

Wrap-Around Care Administration

  • Work with the Wrap-Around Supervisor to manage Breakfast and After-School Club records and bookings

  • Maintain accurate registers and communicate important information (e.g. attendance, medical needs)

  • Support the collection and tracking of fees in coordination with the Finance Officer

School Trips & Lettings Support

  • Assist in organising school trips, collecting permissions, liaising with providers, and maintaining accurate records

  • Help manage lettings by maintaining the calendar, preparing documentation, and liaising with hirers

  • Work closely with site and admin teams to ensure facilities are prepared and policies are followed

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (e.g. SIMS or Arbor)

  • Communicates clearly and warmly with staff, parents, and visitors

  • Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding

  • Is flexible, reliable, and thrives as part of a collaborative team

Desirable:

  • Experience in a school or educational setting

  • Understanding of safeguarding and school trip procedures
