As a department, Business and Economics offer a range of pathways to suit all students, and as such are one of the most popular option subjects at both KS4 and KS5, with Economics A Level being one of our largest A Level subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Economics and also some Business Studies, will have an in depth understanding of successful economics pedagogy and will have achieved highly successful outcomes in their subject area. They will be enthusiastic about developing a knowledge rich curriculum that enables all students to become effective learners. We currently offer A Level Economics and GCSE Business. We hope to introduce GCSE Economics in the future. Student outcomes are continuously improving, and many of our students go on to study Economics or Finance-related degrees at some of the top universities in the UK.
