Beulah Junior School is a community school some three miles north of Croydon Town Centre in a culturally and ethnically diverse community. There are currently 206 pupils on the roll. There is an infant school on an adjoining site which is our main feeder school.
At Beulah Junior School, we take the wellbeing and mental health of our staff seriously which is why we are committed to regular reviews of staff well-being and reducing staff workload. We also have an Employee Assistance Programme with a range of resources to support wellbeing which is available to all employees and their immediate family members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

In line with Keeping Children Safe
in Education 2025, online searches will be completed as part of the due
diligence process on shortlisted candidates. These searches will focus on
content that is publicly available online. The purpose of these searches is to
identify any inappropriate online content. This may indicate that a shortlisted
candidate is not suitable to work with children. It may also highlight content
that could harm the reputation of the school.
An Enhanced DBS certificate, including
a check of the Children’s Barred List, will be required following a provisional
offer of employment. Further vetting checks will also be carried out in line
with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025. Where applicable,
candidates who have lived or worked outside the UK will be required to obtain a
Certificate of Good Conduct.
