About this Role

We are looking to appoint a full-time class teacher from September 2026.

If you are passionate about working with children and want to make a real difference, then there is a place for you at Beulah Junior School.                                                                            

Beulah Junior School is a community school some three miles north of Croydon Town Centre in a culturally and ethnically diverse community. There are currently 206 pupils on the roll. There is an infant school on an adjoining site which is our main feeder school.

At Beulah Junior School, we take the wellbeing and mental health of our staff seriously which is why we are committed to regular reviews of staff well-being and reducing staff workload.  We also have an Employee Assistance Programme with a range of resources to support wellbeing which is available to all employees and their immediate family members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

An Enhanced DBS certificate, including a check of the Children’s Barred List, will be required following a provisional offer of employment. Further vetting checks will also be carried out in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025. Where applicable, candidates who have lived or worked outside the UK will be required to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct.
