Responsibilities
·
Support high-quality
teaching and learning across KS1 and 2.
·
Deliver small group
and one-to-one intervention sessions to accelerate
progress, particularly in reading, writing, and maths.
·
Confidently deliver and support phonics teaching, using the school’s chosen phonics scheme.
·
Work closely with
class teachers to provide targeted support and ensure lessons are inclusive and
engaging.
·
Contribute to the
ongoing development of pupils’ independence.
·
Use assessment
information to support pupil progress and adapt support as needed.
·
Foster positive
relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to enhance learning outcomes.
About You
·
You have experience working in both KS1 or 2, with a clear understanding of the national curriculum.
·
You understand the importance of early years foundations and how to build upon them effectively.
·
You are skilled in delivering phonics and can
confidently support pupils in reading and writing.
·
You are organised,
proactive, and committed to supporting the academic and personal development of
all pupils.
·
You are a strong team player who
values collaboration and continuous improvement.
