About this Role

The successful candidate will:

•       Hold QTS and a relevant degree.

•        Have proven experience in EYFS or primary teaching, ideally within a special or autism-specific setting.

•        Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to support, inspire and nurture others.

•        Have advanced understanding of autism and experience implementing specialist approaches such as TEACCH, SCERTS, PECS, or Sensory Integration.

•        Be confident in safeguarding practice, ideally with DSL training or experience managing safeguarding cases.

•        Work effectively with pupils, families, and professionals to create inclusive, supportive learning environment

•        Have excellent inter-personal skills to ensure partnership working with our mainstream host school

•        Work with the extended leadership team to ensure equality of provision between the main school and satellite site.

•        Be flexible, empathetic, and creative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across the site.

•        Show commitment to the school and a desire to improve and excel.
