About this Role

Are you passionate about teaching a subject that sparks big ideas and real-world thinking? Join our thriving Economics department and help empower the next generation of young women to think critically, challenge ideas, and make their mark on the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and well-qualified teacher of Economics to teach Year 12 and 13 Economics A Level (AQA).

We’re a highly sought-after, independent selective school for c. 590 senior pupils aged 11 to 18 (HMC and GSA). Located on a spacious site in a beautiful residential part of Belgravia, we’re just a short walk from the Saatchi Gallery and close to some of London’s most iconic cultural institutions - including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Science and Natural History Museums, the Royal Academy, and the Tate Galleries.

With small class sizes, excellent facilities and a warm, collaborative staff culture, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and forward-thinking Economics teacher to make a real impact.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong subject knowledge and a real enthusiasm for Economics
  • Great communication and classroom presence
  • A commitment to pupil wellbeing and safeguarding
  • A willingness to get involved in school life beyond the classroom

What we offer:

  • Engaged A level students (AQA), with a growing cohort
  • A lively, well-resourced department in a beautiful Sixth Form centre
  • Generous contributary pension
  • Enrichment opportunities from lectures to clubs, competitions and Life Skills
  • Around 20 fewer teaching days per year than in the maintained sector
  • Free lunch, wellbeing support, and generous staff benefits
  • Outstanding CPD and 50% fee remission for staff daughters

Whether you're an experienced teacher or early in your career, if you’re excited by the chance to teach Economics in an inspiring, supportive setting, we’d love to hear from you.
